Staam is Washington University’s premiere co-ed Jewish a capella group. They sing a variety of songs from traditional religious tunes to mainstream Israeli pop songs. They perform at Hillel and Washington University programs, and they hold concerts in the St. Louis community. They also participate in tours every year. Every spring, they hold a campus-wide concert called Naked Voices, in which they invite Jewish a cappella groups from around the nation and Washington University groups to perform.
