The Shabbat-in-a-Box committee organizes two events every semester. The first is called “Learner’s Shabbat,” where students can learn about the significance of the Shabbat prayers and rituals over dinner. The second event is the handing out of Shabbat boxes. This free box includes challah, wine, candles, matches, salt, and service packets-everything you need to comfortably experience Shabbat with your friends and on your own terms.
