There are a few groups on campus with Israel interests.  WSI (Wash U Students for Israel) holds weekly meetings, Israeli film screenings, and various other programs.  In the past, they have been instrumental in bringing Israeli rap artists HaDagNachash and Israeli political expert Yossi Olmert to campus.  SPPIF (Students for a Peaceful Palestinian-Israeli Future) is independent from JSU, but it is a group that holds regular meetings, discussion panels, and other programs.

Every semester there are Wash U students abroad in Israel. You will see many “Tzahal” T-shirts around campus, as well as Israeli flags in dorm rooms. Each semester about 20 Wash U students go on birthright Israel together.
