Chabad on Campus is the second organization devoted to building the Wash U Jewish community. Rabbi Hershey and Chana Novack live near the South 40 and open their home for Shabbat and holiday meals. They organize additional programming, most of which occurs on main campus or the South 40.

According to the Chabad website, www.chabadoncampus.org:
“Chabad on Campus is a home-away-from home for thousands of Jewish Students in the Greater St. Louis area, Missouri and southern Illinois. Chabad anticipates and serves the needs of students on a social, educational and spiritual level. At Chabad, all students are welcome, regardless of background, affiliation, and level of observance. Chabad on Campus is creating a Jewish Tomorrow... Today!”
